Mr. Olker began his construction industry career in 1969 initially working in the mechanical contracting and commercial design of H.V.A.C. control systems and related electrical power systems.

He continued to advance his competence in design, expanding into office, retail, industrial, and institutional construction environments.

Using the experience gained from these projects, he officially opened Olker Industries, Inc. in 1981, focusing on the construction of interior spaces, and with the belief that construction could be done at a higher level of quality and at a lower cost. From its inception, Olker Industries, Inc. developed a system of coordination for staff and sub-contractors that ensured everyone involved worked together as one cohesive team. With input from staff and vendors, Mr. Olker is continually refining and adjusting his construction operation, ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time and within budget while retaining the highest level of quality.
